Job summary

Phillips & Temro Industries is seeking an HR Generalist to provide broad support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, HRIS data integrity, reporting, and recruitment support.

The role requires 2+ years of HR experience, working knowledge of UKG Pro, and the ability to manage confidential information in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Minnesota. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of progressive HR experience across multiple functions; manufacturing background preferred.
• Experience with UKG Pro or similar HRIS/HCM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, programs, and workplace questions.
• Support employee relations matters by gathering information, documenting actions, escalating issues, and assisting with follow-up actions.
• Assist managers with performance management processes, corrective action documentation, coaching resources, and development conversations.
• Administer onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, job changes, transfers, promotions, and status updates.
• Enter, maintain, and audit employee data in UKG Pro and other HR systems; ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
