Job summary

Acuity Eye Group is seeking a Human Resources Generalist – Shared Services to provide centralized HR support across the organization with a focus on compliance, employee relations, leave administration, and payroll support. The role collaborates with HR leadership and home office teams to ensure consistent, compliant HR operations across all regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in compliance heavy or shared services environments.
• Experience with LOA administration, WC coordination, and HR reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; monitor regulatory changes and support policy updates.
• Serve as centralized resource for employee relations inquiries, documentation, and case tracking.
• Administer LOA programs (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA/FEHA accommodations) including intake, tracking, communication, and return-to-work coordination.
• Manage Workers’ Compensation claims, reporting, follow-up, and coordination with third-party administrators.
• Generate recurring and ad-hoc HR reports for leadership, payroll, compliance, and operations.
