Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the new hire and onboarding process from offer acceptance through successful integration.
- Perform routine administrative and operational tasks supporting the HR department.
- Maintain accurate employee and HR files in accordance with legal retention and security requirements.
- Respond to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive matters when appropriate.
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings and workplace investigations.
- Own and coordinate the termination and offboarding process.
- Support payroll processing and related HR administration.
- Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with reviewing and updating HR policies and practices to support compliance.
- Collaborate with the Senior Human Resources Manager to improve and streamline HR processes.
- Assist with employee training and development initiatives.
- Support employee relations, counseling, and other HR-related matters.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and company information.
- Perform other HR duties and special projects as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of human resources experience preferred.
- Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and HR administration.
- Experience working with HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate HRIS, payroll, and ATS systems.
Certifications:
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of human resources practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Understanding of employee records management, retention, and confidentiality requirements.
- Knowledge of onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, payroll, and HR compliance processes.
