Job summary

Belcan in Windsor, CT is seeking an HR Generalist/Business Analyst to combine HR operations with data analytics and digital transformation. The role offers a remote option for the right candidate and is a full-time position with full benefits.

The ideal candidate will have experience in employee relations, investigations, compliance, and HR operations, driving operational excellence through data integrity and process improvements while supporting audits and ongoing HR initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-4 years of progressive experience in HR Generalist, Business Analyst, or related HR roles.
Experience supporting a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters and investigations.
Exposure to contractor workforce management, staffing, or professional services environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to streamline HR and onboarding processes through automation and technology solutions.
Manage client onboarding reference updates and maintain accurate and timely entry of customer and employee data.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance scalability, efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Ensure HR data, records, and reporting comply with company standards and applicable federal, state, and provincial regulations.
Support internal and external audits through accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and proactive issue resolution.
Partner with HR leadership to manage the full lifecycle of employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
Conduct thorough fact-finding, documentation, tracking, and reporting of employee concerns and complaints.
Ensure investigations are handled consistently, objectively, and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Provide recommendations to leadership to mitigate risk and support positive employee outcomes.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee matters.
Execute core HR Generalist responsibilities, including employee support for both contractor and direct-hire employee populations.
Assist with policy interpretation, compliance matters, and HR-related inquiries.
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that improve service delivery and employee experience.
