Thomas Allen, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist & Benefits Specialist to oversee HR functions, benefits, onboarding, and performance management. You will partner with leadership to drive employee experience and compliance within a social services organization.

The role includes administering benefits enrollment, supporting open enrollment, and working with carriers. Strong communication, problem-solving, and HRIS know-how are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
• Three to seven years of progressive HR experience, with employee relations exposure.
• SHRM, HRCI, and other HR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee relations investigations, documenting conversations and mediating conflicts.
• Support onboarding, performance management, and compensation; backup to recruitment.
• Advise management on people-management decisions aligned with company goals.
• Identify and improve HR-related processes and workflows.
• Prepare records and reports to meet federal/state/provider requirements.
• Assist in employee surveys, census and demographic efforts.
• Stay updated on HR trends and best practices.
