Job summary

Mecklenburg EMS Agency is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to administer benefits, assist with recruitment, and support HR programs for employees across the agency. You will manage enrollments, audits, and inquiries, acting as liaison between employees, payroll, and vendors.

Responsibilities include Open Enrollment support, tuition reimbursement, wellness initiatives, HRIS data updates, and producing HR communications. Strong confidentiality and customer service required.

Qualifications

• Must have HR generalist knowledge and ability to interpret HR policies.
• Experience with benefit enrollment processes and HR data management.
• Strong communication and confidentiality in handling employee information.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day health and welfare benefit programs and handle employee inquiries.
• Assist with recruitment activities including postings, interviews, and onboarding tasks.
• Maintain HR records, supporting HRIS data entry and reporting.
• Coordinate Open Enrollment and tuition reimbursement and other programs.
• Assist with wellness initiatives and employee communications.
