Job summary

Keller Executive Search is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support employees throughout the employment lifecycle for a privately owned architecture firm. You will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, transfers, and departures, and administer records, benefits enrollment, leave, and HR system updates.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of generalist HR experience, and knowledge of HR practices. SHRM-CP or PHR preferred. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of generalist HR experience.
• Experience in architecture/engineering/construction or professional services preferred.
• Working knowledge of employment practices and benefits administration.
• Experience using HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
• Strong judgment, confidentiality, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, transfers, and employee departures.
• Administer employee records, benefits enrollment, leave, and HR system updates.
• Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and workplace procedures.
• Support performance review, compensation, and employee development processes.
• Assist with employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state employment requirements.
• Prepare HR reports and monitor workforce trends.
• Coordinate employee events, training programs, and engagement initiatives.
