Our law firm client is looking to hire an HR Generalist.

About the Job

• Partner closely with the HR Director to manage essential HR functions, with a strong focus on benefits, leave administration, recruitment, and onboarding
• Administer employee benefits and leave programs, including employee support, benefit changes, open enrollment, etc.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, process employee status changes and separations, and support payroll data accuracy.
• Help implement HR policies and support compliance.
• Prepare HR reports and contribute to projects supporting employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

About You

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of human resources experience required, ideally in a legal or corporate environment.
• Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Experience using an HRIS required; Paylocity experience is preferred.

About the Position

• Salary: $80,000 to $85,000 + benefits.
• Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days on site in Richmond, Virginia.
• Reporting relationship: Reports to and works closely with HR Director.
