Job summary

Harvey Performance Company, LLC is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with site leaders and hourly employees across a multi-shift manufacturing environment. You will manage employee relations, leave, compliance, onboarding, benefits, payroll transactions, and engagement.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll apply policy and law to practical solutions and support site leaders. You will be the go-to HR contact, coach leaders on performance and conversations, and help drive improvements across HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; certification is a plus.
• 3+ years HR generalist experience including employee relations and leave administration.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, etc.).
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office.
• Accurate and detail-oriented documentation and data entry.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and employees.
• Willingness to travel to facilities in New England.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR partner to site leaders and hourly employees across shifts.
• Advise on policy application, performance management, attendance, and corrective action.
• Identify trends in employee relations and support improvements.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding with stakeholders and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate and support timekeeping, benefits, and leaves (FMLA, state leaves).
• Support workers’ compensation and unemployment claims coordination.
• Audit compliance records and stay current on employment law requirements.
• Deliver training and collaborate on HR projects and events.
