Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field (or equivalent).
  • 3+ years HR experience across onboarding, employee relations, benefits, leave, payroll, compliance, HRIS.
  • Experience maintaining confidential employee information and records.

This role serves as a resource for employees and leaders, helping ensure consistent application of policies, accurate employee records, regulatory compliance, and positive employee experiences. In addition, this position partners closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless transition from candidate selection through employment, playing a critical role in maintaining onboarding momentum by proactively guiding candidates through pre-employment requirements, removing barriers to hire, and driving readiness for successful and timely starts.Hours: Standard business hours (Monday - Friday)Location: 2042 Wooddale Drive, Woodbury, MNPay Rate (Salary): $62,500 - $78,000/yearJob Duties:Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle AdministrationPartner with Talent Acquisition to facilitate a seamless transition from candidate selection through onboarding, ensuring completion of all pre-employment requirements and new hire readiness activities.Provide administrative support to recruiting and talent acquisition activities, including interview coordination, candidate communications, offer documentation, and applicant tracking system (ATS) maintenance as needed.Maintain hiring, onboarding, and workforce-related metrics to support staffing and workforce planning efforts.Manage post-offer onboarding activities, including background screenings, employment eligibility verification, new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, and related communications.Coordinate and complete the set-up of new devices and logins of new employees.Proactively monitor onboarding progress, maintain regular communication with candidates and hiring stakeholders, identify barriers to start, and take appropriate action to ensure timely onboarding completion.Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure employees receive required information regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, compliance requirements, and workplace expectations.Process employee status changes, including hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, leaves of absence, and separations, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and system updates.Support employee offboarding activities, including exit processes, required notices, records management, and separation documentation.Employee Relations & Employee SupportServe as a point of contact for employee and supervisor questions regarding HR policies, procedures, employment practices, and workplace programs.Provide first-level employee relations support by responding to employee concerns, gathering relevant information, assisting with issue resolution, and escalating matters as appropriate.Partner with managers and employees to support performance management processes, policy interpretation, employee engagement efforts, and workplace concerns.Deliver responsive, professional, and customer-focused service while maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment.Benefits, Leave, and Payroll AdministrationAdminister employee benefit programs, including enrollments, qualifying life event changes, terminations, employee communications, vendor coordination, and reconciliation activities.Support open enrollment planning, communication, and administration.Assist with the administration and tracking of leave programs, including personal leaves, family and medical leave, paid family and medical leave programs, accommodations, and other protected leave requests.Serve as an administrative resource for employee benefits and leave programs, coordinating with carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators as needed.Complete payroll administration through employee data maintenance, compensation updates, auditing payroll-related information, researching discrepancies, and assisting with payroll processing activities.Coordinate workers' compensation claims administration, return-to-work processes, injury reporting, and related communications with employees, supervisors, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators.Monitor occupational health requirements, including pre-employment, annual, and regulatory health screenings.HR Operations, Training & Organizational SupportCoordinate and support training initiatives, compliance programs, performance review processes, and employee development activities.Generate, maintain, and distribute HR reports, workforce metrics, and related documentation to support operational, compliance, and business needs.Assist with planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, benefits enrollment meetings, retirement celebrations, and organization-wide events.Support HR projects, process improvements, and departmental initiatives that enhance employee experience, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics, including turnover, retention, onboarding completion, benefits utilization, leave utilization, and staffing data to support organizational decision-making.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required;
