Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll questions, and HR administration at our on-site Vidor, TX location. This Temp-Hire role requires 2–4 years HR experience, a BA in a related field, and strong organizational skills.

You will collaborate with supervisors and managers on employee relations, maintain confidential records, process changes, and help deliver HR reports and training initiatives, all while ensuring compliance with company

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of HR experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple HR areas (recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, HR administration).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with employees, supervisors, and management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with an HRIS or payroll system preferred.
  • English/Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offers, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate new-hire orientation and ensure employment documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, attendance, payroll questions, and HR procedures.
  • Partner with supervisors and managers on employee relations, attendance concerns, performance documentation, and disciplinary processes.
  • Process employee changes, including new hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, and benefits-related questions.
  • Support leave administration and required documentation.
  • Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, employee communications, letters, and other HR documentation.
  • Assist with training, employee engagement initiatives, recruiting events, and special HR projects.
  • Help ensure HR practices and documentation align with company policies and applicable requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to projects that make the employee experience better.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring
  • 2–4 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple areas of HR, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and HR administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with employees, supervisors, and management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with an HRIS or payroll system preferred.
  • English/Spanish bilingual skills a plus
