Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to join the Compression Flow Technologies Business Unit in Enon, OH or Burbank, CA. The role partners with HR leadership to drive HR initiatives for salaried and hourly employees and contribute to shaping the employee experience in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will manage onboarding, HRIS data, benefits coordination, and safety compliance while supporting employee relations and organizational design initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Recruit onboarding process including pre-employment testing, new hire paperwork, and orientation; HRIS entry.
• Maintain SuccessFactors HRIS employee data and files.
• Deploy HR plans, processes, programs and policies aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment and performance management, employee engagement and communications.
• Collaborate with local HR business partners to share best practices and address local site and sector initiatives.
• Assist employees with benefits issues, lead the annual open enrollment process, and coordinate on-site wellness screenings.
• Ensure EHS compliance and assist in identifying safety training needs and response programs.
• Work with leadership, HR Business Partners and employees to improve relationships, engagement, productivity and retention; act as employee advocate; coach and counsel; monitor climate and identify issues/trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources

Core Competencies

• Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within HR and business teams.

Preferences

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is a plus
• SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred
• Strong judgment, problem solving and relationship-building skills
• Expertise in employee relations
• Excellent communication skills

Travel & Work Arrangements

• This position is on-site based in Enon, OH or Burbank, CA, with minimal anticipated travel.
