Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to join our Compression Flow Technologies Business Unit in Enon, OH or Burbank, CA. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our HR leadership to drive HR initiatives, supporting both salaried and hourly employees. You will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, and will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects. Responsibilities

• Recruitment: manages onboarding process including pre-employment testing, new hire paperwork, orientation, HRIS entry
• HRIS: maintains SuccessFactors Human Resources Information System employee database and files
• Communication/Training: deploys HR plans, processes, programs and policies aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment/performance management, employee engagement and communications
• Partnership: collaborates with local HR business partners to share best practices, critical needs issues, and local site and sector initiatives
• Benefits: assists employees with benefits issues, annual open enrollment process, wellness on-site annual screenings
• Safety: ensures EHS compliance requirements are met, including submission of Worker’s Comp claims; assists in identifying safety training needs and ensuring response programs are in place
• Employee Relations: works closely with leadership, HR Business Partners and employees to improve work relationships, build positive engagement, and increase productivity and retention; acts as employee advocate; provides coaching, counseling, and influencing skills; monitors employee climate and proposes solutions; drives cultural transformation to support an employee ownership mentality; counsels management and employees regarding policies and procedures; provides guidance in performance improvement processes
• Other responsibilities as assigned or required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources

Core Competencies

• Self-motivated and reliable, able to work independently and prioritize while collaborating with HR and business teams

Preferences

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is a plus
• SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred
• Strong judgment and problem solving with relationship-building skills
• Expertise in employee relations
• Excellent communication skills

Travel & Work Arrangements

• On-site based in Enon, OH or Burbank, CA, with minimal travel
