Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation seeks an Employment Center - Front Desk - Hourly Human Resources Specialist to support the HR department with data entry, audits, and customer service. This full-time role requires friendly, professional interactions and accurate record maintenance.

You will process team member paperwork, assist with HR software, ensure compliance with regulations, and help generate reports while maintaining confidentiality and providing information to management and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of human resources or front desk experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable of HR concepts, policies and procedures.
• Strong MS Office skills and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform research for special projects and events by gathering relevant data and preparing and summarizing results.
• Assist with record maintenance.
• Primary person to answer telephones and greet customers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Process team member-related paperwork, including data input into the company’s HR systems.
• Provide administrative and clerical support.
• Review employment-related paperwork to ensure proper completion, obtain necessary supporting documents, and ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and Company policies.
• Maintain an accurate and complete filing system including organizing and scanning in document retention software.
• Create, print and distribute reports as prescribed and/or requested.
• Provide information and interpretation of policies and procedures to management and employees.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.
