Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Senior HR Finance Analyst to bridge HR and Finance, owning payroll, benefits and employee-related accounting, and ensuring accurate GL reflection.

You will reconcile payroll to the general ledger, support close processes, collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and external providers, and help with planning, forecasts and audits.

Requires 5+ years of experience, ERP/HRIS/SAP proficiency, and advanced Excel skills, with strong cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably including payroll/benefits.
• Experience with ERP, payroll and HRIS systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll and employee-related accounting reconciliation and GL entries.
• Reconcile payroll activity to GL accounts, including wages, payroll taxes, bonuses, deductions and employer-paid costs.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities associated with payroll and employee-related expenses.
• Establish and maintain appropriate financial controls over payroll and employee-related accounting processes.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT and external providers to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
