Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Manage Paycom and HRIS systems, including integrations and system updates
• Conduct payroll audits, resolve discrepancies, and prepare management reports
• Manage employee terminations, garnishments, and payroll records
• Support project setup, reporting, headcount tracking, and turnover reporting
• Provide responsive, high-quality service to employees and internal stakeholders

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team and lead end-to-end payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Vice President, Corporate Controller and partner with HR, Benefits, Accounting, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees
• Overseeing multi-jurisdictional payroll, including prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Managing Paycom and HRIS systems, including integrations and system updates
• Conducting payroll audits, resolving discrepancies, and preparing management reports
• Managing employee terminations, garnishments, employment verifications, and payroll records
• Supporting project setup, reporting, headcount tracking, and turnover reporting
• Providing responsive, high-quality service to employees and internal stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience
• At least 3 years in a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and multi-jurisdictional requirements
• Experience with Paycom or similar payroll/HRIS systems
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A collaborative, service-oriented approach

Minimal travel is required for this position.
