Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Controller to oversee the company’s financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. You will manage the accounting team, ensure GAAP-compliant statements, and support audits.

This role partners with the CFO and executives, leads month-end closes, analyzes costs, and drives process improvements. Strong ERP experience (Epicor) and advanced Excel skills are essential. Travel about 10% and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred; leadership experience in accounting.
• Experience with public company reporting and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Epicor ERP and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
• Lead month-end close, prepare financial statements, and coordinate with executives and board.
• Support CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Coordinate audits and ensure regulatory reporting and internal controls.
• Supervise accounting staff and develop a high-performing team.
• Travel up to 10% and work on-site.
