Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) is seeking a full-time Human Resources Employment Administrator in a hybrid role based in Burlington, VT. You will support postings, onboarding, HR files, background checks, and preemployment processes, while addressing HR inquiries as the primary contact for Freshdesk.

The position emphasizes confidentiality, customer service, and organization with a starting pay range of $24.92-$26.63 per hour, plus a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Human Services, or related field; and two years of customer service, office administrative experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills required; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Must be well organized, detail oriented, able to prioritize and adhere to deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Commitment to customer service with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support in postings, onboarding, maintaining confidential HR files and systems.
• Manage background screening and preemployment processes.
• Answer employee questions and perform other HR administrative duties as needed.
• Serve as the primary point person for Freshdesk and the HR inbox.

Human Resources Employment Administrator:

You will have the opportunity to provide administrative support in a variety of areas including career postings, onboarding, maintaining confidential HR files and systems, managing background screening & preemployment processes, answering employee questions, and other administrative duties as needed. This position is the primary point person for Freshdesk and the HR inbox and works to address the agency's Human Resources needs.

This is a hybrid position located in Burlington VT.

The starting pay range is $24.92 - 26.63 / hour.

Requirements
