SGS Consulting is seeking an HR Coordinator to conduct new hire orientations, track training, and support day-to-day HR operations at our Columbus, OH facility.

You will work closely with the Production Supervisor to handle paperwork, investigations, attendance discipline, and grievances, while maintaining confidential records and contributing to labor relations under the plant's collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1-2 years’ HR experience preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred but not required.
• Strong independent critical thinking and decision making.
• Customer service orientation and business needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational and time management.
• Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint skills: intermediate to advanced.

Responsabilités

• Conduct new hire orientations and track completion of job-specific training.
• Partner with Production Supervisor to process production paperwork, investigations, attendance disciplines, and grievances.
• Check in employees and schedule according to the plant’s collective bargaining agreement to maintain labor relations.
• Report on HR metrics as needed.
• Maintain and process confidential records including personnel files and employment data.
• Support plant projects and events as needed.
