Job summary

Steel Technologies LLC is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator at the Ohio plant location. The role serves as the main HR contact for teammates, executing payroll, benefits, recruitment, wellness initiatives, and corporate HR support across daily operations.

You will handle onboarding, timekeeping, policy communication, safety compliance, and employee relations, while ensuring accurate HR data and reporting. A collaborative, compliant approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
• Two to three years experience in Human Resources
• Knowledge of HR functions, policies, and labor laws
• Ability to manage payroll, benefits, recruitment and employee relations

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing for hourly teammates and drivers
• Recruitment, onboarding and orientation of new teammates
• Benefits enrollment administration and open enrollment support
• Wellness program administration and participation promotion
• Teammate relations support and conflict resolution
• Effective communication with plant management, Corporate HR and Legal
• Safety policy support and incident recordkeeping
• General HR administration and back-up office support
