Qualifications

• 3 yrs. exp. in human resources.
• Or completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration; 12 mos. exp. in human resources.
• Or 1 yr. exp. as Human Capital Management Analyst, 64612.
• Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile & analyze HR data, metrics & statistics from a variety of sources (e.g., OAKS BI, surveys, exit interviews) and identify trends.
• Assist with developing and delivering orientation for Central Office new hires; update orientation folders and communicate policies.
• Coordinate central office recruitment program; post positions; develop interview questions; screen applications; assist with pre-hire paperwork.
• Create/submit ePAR in Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS) for approval.
• Review Personnel Actions (ePAR) for assigned Developmental Centers; approve/disapprove actions and follow up on errors.
• Provide technical assistance on laws, rules & directives for processing personnel transactions (ePARs, PDs, etc.).
• Attend meetings, in-service training & seminars; perform other duties within scope.
