Job summary

National Oilwell Varco is seeking an HR Central Representative to support centralized HR services, data entry, and system data governance. You will handle inquiries, assist with HRIS data and coordinate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Benefits teams.

In a fast-paced environment, you will ensure data integrity, follow procedures, and contribute to process improvements while delivering high‑quality service to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in a human resources environment or similar; 3–5 years preferred.
• Experience with data entry for HR is highly preferred.
• General understanding of core HR practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Familiarity with HRIS systems; Oracle experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use case management to respond to HR requests within SLA.
• Perform basic investigations using HR regulations, policy knowledge, and reference materials.
• Enter and modify changes across the employee life cycle (offers, transfers, salary changes, terminations).
• Maintain accuracy of HR data in the HRIS and audit for consistency.
• Assist HR Technology with HR system enhancements.
• Build relationships across HR and with process partners.
• Suggest improvements to standardize and streamline services.
