Job summary

North Carolina State University’s Wilson College of Textiles seeks an HR Generalist for HR Data & Operations in Raleigh, NC. You will manage and audit sensitive employee data across HR systems, ensuring accuracy and security while identifying opportunities to improve processes.

The role covers onboarding, payroll and leave processing, I‑9 & E‑Verify, and reporting and analytics to support college leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience providing HR support to multiple managers.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA).
• Strong data accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage HR data transactions for hires and changes.
• Administer payroll and leave-related HR processes.
• Review HR data for discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
• Analyze HR data from multiple systems to identify trends.
• Provide guidance and training on HR data processes.
