Job summary

NC State University in Raleigh seeks an HR Generalist for HR Data and Operations to manage data transactions, onboarding, and payroll processes within the Wilson College of Textiles.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, compliance, and analytics to support campus HR leadership and student hiring activities, with a schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and occasional long hours during peak events.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and evaluate HR data transactions for new hires and lifecycle events.
• Administer payroll and leave processes, including tracking leave balances.
• Manage student hiring and graduate appointment processes per university requirements.
• Process summer salary appointments and related compensation transactions.
• Maintain electronic personnel records and serve as the college’s OnBase data custodian.
• Review HR data and documentation to identify discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
