Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking an HR Coordinator to support recruiting, onboarding, training coordination, and HR documentation. You will help manage employee records, ensure policy compliance, and contribute to a positive employee experience.

This role collaborates with HR and EHS teams to maintain smooth daily operations at the Chittenango facility. The position emphasizes confidentiality, professional support, and the ability to handle payroll data and benefits processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR/business or related field.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience considered for strong candidates.
• Prior Talent Acquisition or HR experience; training/presentation experience is a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post job openings, track applicants, and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
• Assist with pre-employment processes such as screenings, reference checks, and document collection.
• Prepare new hire packets, coordinate first-day logistics, and support orientation delivery.
• Maintain recruitment and onboarding records in HR systems.
• Schedule, coordinate, and conduct trainings including onboarding, HR policy trainings, safety refreshers, and compliance sessions.
• Prepare training materials, handouts, attendance records, and follow-up documentation.
• Support Safety and EHS programs with PPE distribution, hearing/vision testing coordination, fit test scheduling, and documentation.
• Maintain personnel files, update employee records, and assist in routine HR reporting.
• Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding policies and HR topics.
• Assist with benefits documentation, enrollment packets, and employee communication.
• Support payroll accuracy by collecting timesheets and processing basic updates.
• Coordinate company events, recognition activities, and employee engagement initiatives.
