Job summary

Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support retail District Managers, Site Managers, and employees in Pennsylvania. This role covers recruiting, onboarding, training, policy questions, and HR data reporting to maintain smooth regional operations.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years in HR with recruiting/onboarding experience, strong communication, data reporting skills, and familiarity with ADA, FLSA, and FMLA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HR experience including recruiting and onboarding.
• Retail/food & beverage industry experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to create employee data reports and analyze data.
• Multi-tasking and strict attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of ADA, FLSA, and FMLA employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting talent for the region and developing engaging recruiting materials.
• Assist with recruiting in difficult markets; coordinate with schools and community groups.
• Set up and attend local recruiting events (job fairs).
• Onboarding employees and managing high-volume onboarding in ADP Workforce Now.
• Track onboarding completion and follow up with sites and hires.
• Conduct new hire orientation sessions.
• Coordinate and conduct training sessions.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to inform actions.
• Compile and report employee data and respond to policy/pay inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; identify risks.
• Contribute to HR system and process improvements in the region.
