Job summary

voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak LLC is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator in Decatur, IL to manage the employee lifecycle, onboarding, training management, and safety program coordination. The role supports payroll, benefits, and regulatory compliance while fostering a positive, safety‑driven work culture.

You will collaborate with departments to administer HR programs, update HRIS data, and ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely communications with employees.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other related fields is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant HR experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Experience in administering and communicating benefit programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with ADP HRIS and Krono’s software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety initiatives and maintain safety records.
• Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data.
• Ensure timely payroll processing, benefits, attendance, and compliance with policies.
