Job summary

SST Direct is seeking an HR Coordinator in McGregor, TX for a direct hire. The role focuses on full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations within a manufacturing environment.

You will partner with managers on staffing, develop pipelines, and ensure compliance with employment laws while maintaining accurate HR records and HRIS data. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or HR coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Experience supporting employee relations in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Recruiting and talent acquisition experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of federal and state employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, skilled trades, administrative, and professional roles.
• Partner with hiring managers on staffing needs, interviews, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
• Build talent pipelines through job fairs and community partnerships."
• Serve as HR resource for policies, attendance, benefits, payroll questions, and workplace concerns.
• Support employee relations activities, including coaching, corrective action, performance management, engagement, retention, and recognition.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation.
• Manage employee records, HRIS updates, offboarding activities, and other lifecycle processes.
• Coordinate training, performance reviews, engagement initiatives, and recognition programs.
• Assist with HR reporting, workforce analytics, headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and compliance-related activities.
• Partner with HR leadership on process improvements, workforce planning, policies, compensation, employee development, and other HR initiatives.
