Job summary

Hope Christian Services in Wyckoff, New Jersey, is seeking an organized HR Coordinator (Recruiting & Onboarding) to join our Human Resources team. This full-time role supports recruiting for various positions, conducts initial phone screens, coordinates interviews, and ensures a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.

Recent graduates or candidates with less than one year of HR or recruiting experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR, recruiting, admin, or customer service helpful but not required.
• Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
• Experience with an HRIS or ATS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting for a variety of positions across the organization.
• Review applications, communicate with candidates, conduct initial phone screens, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Follow up with candidates and managers to keep the hiring process moving.
• Participate in job fairs and community recruiting events.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation scheduling, and required paperwork.
• Track pre‑employment requirements, including background checks and drug screenings.
• Assist with employment verifications and I-9 documentation.
• Help ensure new employees have a smooth and welcoming start.
