Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to provide essential administrative support to the People/HR function. You will be the first point of contact for employee questions, manage personnel-related documentation, and escalate complex matters to HR leadership.

The role partners with managers to guide HR policies, performance management, and state compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of HR experience or related roles.
• Experience supporting HR/People Operations or employee-relations processes.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple requests and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn HR systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as initial point of contact for HR-related questions from employees and managers.
• Provide process support and ensure timely, accurate documentation handling.
• Escalate complex issues to HR Manager or HR Director.
• Assist with policy guidance, performance management, and compliance.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and HR record maintenance.
