Rivers Casino Des Plaines is seeking an on-site Human Resources professional for a full-time role. The job includes greeting team members, data entry, handling HR paperwork, answering phones and emails, coordinating interviews during weekly walk-ins, and assisting onboarding.

A two-year college degree or equivalent, proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage confidential information are required.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in related field or equivalent work experience in Human Resources
• Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Confidential information handling and professional demeanor
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts and holidays
• Must be able to complete pre-employment licensing requirements

Responsibilities

• Welcomes Team Members and guests in a professional, courteous, and expeditious manner
• Completes data entry as directed
• Receives and routes HR paperwork efficiently
• Answers HR phone lines, emails, and voice messages
• Manages office inventory and purchasing system
• Maintains new hire files and supports onboarding and offboarding
• Resets passwords as needed
• Coordinates candidates through interview process during weekly recruiting events
• Follows up with candidates on appointments
• Assists in onboarding incoming hires
• Intakes Team Relations issues
• Supports initiatives to boost Team Member engagement
• Assists training and onboarding processes
• Answers questions on Benefits & Leave
