Job summary

NW Recruiting Partners is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for a temporary assignment in Seattle. You will support essential HR operations, onboarding, benefits, and leave administration while assisting field teams and project leadership.

The role requires 1–3 years of HR experience, strong organizational skills, and discretion for handling confidential information. This on-site position involves coordinating performance reviews and supporting safety documentation and HR processes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of HR or HR administration experience.
• Experience coordinating performance reviews and maintaining employee records.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations; WA leave rules preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn HRIS and other tech platforms.
• Strong organizational, time management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate performance review cycles: scheduling, tracking deadlines, and collecting evaluations.
• Support the summer Project Engineer internship program: onboarding, communications, mentor coordination.
• Assist with new hire orientations, employee records, leave paperwork, and verifications.
• Process terminations, benefit changes and billings, project bonuses, and 401(k) deferral forms.
• Support field employee management: labor tracking, interview coordination, and hiring activities.
• Coordinate employee birthday recognition and assist with internal HR communications.
• Support workers’ compensation claims, injury documentation, OSHA 300 log updates.
• Provide occasional office administration support and assist with meetings/events.
