The role emphasizes accurate records, timely payroll responses, and proactive policy guidance. You will work closely with managers and staff to ensure smooth HR processes and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in HR and/or payroll is required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential.
• Professional communication with all staff levels is expected.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters discreetly.
• Proficiency with HR software, data entry, and reporting systems is needed.
• Understanding of labor law and HR compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee data: process hires, pay rate changes, and terminations in HR systems.
• Assist with recruitment: screen applications and resumes, assess qualifications, and make hiring recommendations.
• Advise on policies: support managers and employees with HR policy questions.
• Handle payroll inquiries and maintain accurate personnel records.
• Support employment transactions: guide promotions, transfers, and classifications reviews.
• Coordinate recognition programs and employee events.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state laws and risk documentation.
• Prepare correspondence, perform data entry, and create HR reports as needed.
• Educate staff on policies and employment law.
