Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Plainfield is seeking an HR Coordinator to support the Plainfield Distribution Center HR function. You will ensure data accuracy in HR reporting systems, support HRBP processes through the teammate lifecycle, and provide administrative support to the Generalist function.

Daily tasks include reviewing Workday Time & Attendance, assisting with unemployment claims, coordinating New Hire Orientation, maintaining records, and partnering with Operations leaders to deliver

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in HR administration in a distribution, manufacturing, retail, or high-volume operational environment.
• Experience with HR reporting systems and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Daily review of Workday Time & Attendance to ensure payroll and data accuracy.
• Process unemployment claims in partnership with Operations and Legal.
• Co-facilitate New Hire Orientation and onboarding initiatives.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to improve retention and engagement.
• Serve as first point of contact for HR inquiries and escalate teammate relations concerns as needed.
• Maintain HR records in compliance with policies and retention standards.
• Partner with Recruiting and Operations to communicate staffing needs and support hiring initiatives.
