Qualifications

  • Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with full recruitment cycle: postings, screening, interviews, references.
  • Coordinate onboarding: paperwork, orientations, integration.
  • Support employee relations and address inquiries.
  • Ensure HR compliance and maintain records per regulations.
  • Track employee training and certifications (OSHA, forklift, safety).
  • Assist benefits administrator with open enrollment and questions.
  • Maintain HR files (digital and physical) and update HR board.
  • Schedule meetings and HR events.

The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Human Resources department, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures that the HR needs for all employees are met, contributing to the overall success of the company.Key Responsibilities:Recruitment and Onboarding:Assist with the full recruitment cycle for new hires, including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including completing paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring smooth integration into the company.Maintain and update the employee database, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.Employee Relations and Engagement:Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to the HR Director.Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs.HR Compliance and Recordkeeping:Ensure proper maintenance of employee records and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, FMLA, and other labor laws relevant to manufacturing.Monitor and track employee training, ensuring all certifications (e.g., forklift, safety, etc.) are up to date.Assist in the administration of the company’s safety programs and maintain compliance with safety protocols specific to the production environment.Coordinate with the benefits administrator to facilitate open enrollment, manage employee benefits questions, and maintain accurate benefit records.Administrative Duties:Organize and maintain HR files, both digital and physical, including employee records, certifications, and compliance documents.Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, interviews, and other HR-related events.Update HR Information board.High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Experience working in an HR role within the construction or manufacturing industries and bilingual preferred.
