Job summary

Qnergy Inc. is seeking an HR Administrator to provide administrative and operational support for Human Resources, serving as the primary contact for hourly employees throughout the lifecycle.

You will coordinate hourly recruiting, onboarding, orientation, records, HRIS administration, and day-to-day support while ensuring compliance with policies and employment regulations. Qualifications

  • Associate degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of HR, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting hourly workforces is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing, warehouse, and production positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, pre-employment activities, and offer administration.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, conduct new hire orientations, complete employment documentation, and ensure employees are prepared for a successful start.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS and personnel files, ensuring data integrity and compliance with record retention requirements.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for hourly employees, responding to questions regarding company policies, benefits, employment documentation, and general HR processes.
  • Process employee transactions including new hires, status changes, promotions, transfers, and separations.
  • Support attendance administration, training records, performance review administration, and other routine HR processes.
  • Partner with Production leaders to support staffing needs, employee communications, engagement initiatives, and day-to-day employee relations matters.
  • Prepare routine HR reports, maintain recruiting and onboarding metrics, and assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws while maintaining strict confidentiality of employment information.

Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent required.
  • Two or more years of Human Resources, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting hourly workforces is highly desirable.

Work Environment
  • Work performed in both an office and manufacturing environment.
  • Regular interaction with production employees and supervisors on the manufacturing floor.
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the facility.
  • May occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Exposure to typical manufacturing conditions, including moderate noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures while on the production floor.
  • Requires use of standard office equipment and computer systems.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
