Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a hands-on HR professional to manage daily Human Resources operations in a busy manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will work with employees, supervisors, and management to maintain a productive, compliant, and positive workplace.

Responsibilities include overseeing HR operations, recruiting, onboarding, payroll support, benefits, policy enforcement, and OSHA compliance, with focus on employee relations and staff development to support retention

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or related HR leadership role.
• Manufacturing or industrial HR experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR compliance.
• Experience handling disciplinary actions and performance issues.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Safety/OSHA experience is a plus.
• HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are a plus.

• Oversee daily HR operations for the manufacturing facility
• Manage the full recruiting and hiring process, including job postings, interviewing, selection, and onboarding
• Conduct new-hire orientation and ensure employees complete all required paperwork and training
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR records
• Handle employee relations issues, workplace concerns, attendance issues, and disciplinary actions
• Work closely with supervisors and department managers on employee performance and staffing needs
• Assist with payroll and timekeeping processes
• Coordinate benefits administration and assist employees with benefit-related questions
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies
• Help develop and enforce company policies and procedures
• Support employee retention and engagement initiatives
• Track attendance, turnover, staffing levels, and other HR-related information
• Assist with investigations and documentation of workplace incidents
• Support safety programs and work closely with management to promote a safe manufacturing environment
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and other applicable workplace regulations
• Provide guidance to management regarding employee policies, performance, and HR best practices
