Job summary

KCG Search is recruiting an on-site HR Coordinator for a Newark, CA manufacturing client. You will be a visible resource on the production floor, partnering with supervisors and site leadership to support employees and keep day-to-day HR operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include onboarding, recruiting, timekeeping and employee documentation, supporting payroll, and handling worker's compensation and training tracking. California employment practices knowledge is important.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR, HR administration, recruiting, payroll or related experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with onboarding, recruiting, timekeeping and employee documentation.
• Familiarity with California employment practices.
• HRIS/payroll system experience.

• Coordinate recruiting for manufacturing, skilled-trades and administrative positions.

• Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and confidential HR records.
• Partner closely with corporate HR and site leadership.

KCG Search is recruiting an HR Coordinator for a growing manufacturing organization in Newark, California.

This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who likes being close to the people and close to the operation.

This isn't an HR role where you'll spend your entire day behind a desk. You'll be a visible presence in the facility—supporting employees, partnering with supervisors and site leadership, helping recruit great people, and making sure the day-to-day HR function runs smoothly.

What you'll be doing:

• Serve as an onsite HR resource for employees and supervisors
• Support employee relations, attendance and performance documentation
• Coordinate recruiting for manufacturing, skilled-trades and administrative positions
• Manage onboarding, orientation, employee records and offboarding
• Support payroll, timekeeping and employee-status changes
• Assist with workers' compensation and workplace-injury documentation
• Track training, certifications and employee qualifications
• Support employee engagement and retention initiatives

What we're looking for:

Experience in aerospace, machining, precision manufacturing or another production environment would be especially valuable.
