Job Description:
The HR Coordinator is an entry-level position supporting Regional HR Business Partners and Hospice Administrators to enhance organizational efficiency through implementing HR systems and processes. Responsibilities include facilitating daily HR functions across multiple agency sites within Harbor Healthcare System. Key activities involve:
- Collaborating across teams to coordinate initiatives such as employee onboarding, orientation, training, and retention activities.
- Maintaining employee information using Excel databases.
- Submitting recurring employee reports to stakeholders.
- Managing employee personnel files for various sites.
- Preparing and presenting files for audits.
- Providing HR guidance on employee experience matters.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of HR experience or equivalent transferable skills.
- Outstanding communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal—with public speaking capabilities.
- Ability to handle data with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data entry.
- Comfort with using and improving various systems and processes.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Adherence to agency policies, OSHA regulations, and safety policies.
- Reliability and dependability—punctuality and full-time availability.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
- Clean background and drug screening.
