This role involves assisting with the administration of daily human resources operations and duties. The candidate will support internal customers with inquiries related to pay, policies, services, and programs, and will handle responsibilities such as record keeping, filing, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with employee relations
  • Administering employee changes
  • Maintaining employee and HR files (both soft and hard copies)
  • Responding to inquiries about policies, pay, timekeeping, procedures, and programs
  • Maintaining Kronos and approval processes
  • Supporting other HR staff
  • Providing support to other HR administrative functions within the company
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

Nature and Scope:

  • Works under direct supervision, following written and verbal instructions
  • Resolves routine questions and issues, referring complex problems to others
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Experience:

  • Up to two years of experience as a data clerk or administrative assistant
  • At least two years in customer service

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Additional Information:

  • No people management responsibilities
  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations

  • Manager or Director of Human Resources
