Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Virginia Lottery Gaming License.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Maintain HRIS data entry for new hires, terminations, and changes.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and termination letters.
  • Assist with onboarding, including background checks, drug screenings, and reference checks.
  • Coordinate HR programs and initiatives, including employee engagement activities and performance reviews.
  • Oversee the gaming license program for employees and liaise with regulatory agencies.

Job Summary

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient execution of HR processes and programs. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and compliance activities. The HR Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employees, helping to answer HR-related questions and maintain a positive employee experience.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

AssistwithHRadministrativetasks,includingmaintainingemployeerecords,processingpaperwork,andmanagingHRdatabases.

PrepareHR-relateddocuments,suchasemploymentcontracts,offerletters,andterminationletters.

Supportthecoordinationof HRprogramsandinitiatives,includingemployeeengagementactivities, trainingsessions,andperformanceevaluations.

Overseethegaminglicenseprogramforemployees,ensuringcompliancewithgamingindustryregulations.

Liaisewithregulatoryagenciestoaddresslicensinginquiriesandensuretimelyprocessingofapplications.

Assistwiththeonboardingprocessfornewhires,includingcoordinatingbackgroundchecks,drugscreenings,andreferencechecks.

Ensureallrequiredpaperworkiscompletedaccuratelyandinatimelymanner.

Conductorientationsessionsfornewemployees,providingthemwithnecessaryinformationandmaterials.

AssistwithHRIS dataentry,includingnewhires,terminations,andemployeechanges.

Stayupdatedonemploymentlawsandregulations,ensuringcomplianceinHRpractices.

AssistwithHRauditsandcompliancechecks.

Additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

Bachelor'sdegreeinHumanResources,BusinessAdministration,orarelatedfieldispreferred.

Minimumof 2yearsofexperienceinHRadministrationorasimilarrole.

Familiaritywithgamingindustryregulationsandlicensingprocessesishighlydesirable.
