The HR Generalist supports day-to-day human resources operations across assigned departments, ensuring effective delivery of recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and HR administrative functions. This role serves as a key point of contact for team members, promotes a positive workplace culture, and ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Starting Salary is $60,000 per year based on experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, including job postings, interviews, hiring documentation, and new hire orientation.
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, including reporting and personnel changes.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, supporting inquiries, investigations, and workplace culture initiatives.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, attendance tracking, audits, and I-9 verification processes.
Support performance management and development through training tracking and documentation of employee performance discussions.
Administer HR processes related to pay, benefits, status changes, and annual enrollment activities.
Drive employee engagement by communicating updates, supporting recognition programs, and gathering feedback.
Coordinate separation and offboarding processes, including exit interviews, final pay guidance, and system updates.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to escalat issues appropriately.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
2-4 years of HR experience required, preferably in a generalist capacity.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Must maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
