Job summary

Sandvik AB is seeking an HR Contact Advisory Specialist to support recruiting and HR operations within the Workday HRIS environment. The role involves handling onboarding, employee data management, and HR policy inquiries for Sandvik-US employees.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in HR, experience with Workday, and familiarity with HR compliance including I-9 verifications, GDPR awareness, and secure cloud-based tools. On-site work in the US is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in HR in a professional environment.
• Experience navigating in Workday HRIS system and onboarding of new hires.
• Familiar with I-9 verifications and onboarding requirements.
• Knowledge of basic HR concepts, practices and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Support Recruiting Manager and HR Generalist with recruitment steps in Workday.
• Review contracts of employment and create offer letters.
• Coordinate employment checks (right to work, references, criminal records).
• Maintain employee data/records in Workday and other HR systems.
• Administer Workday processes and respond to HR inquiries.
• Generate HR reports to support decision making.
