Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a Senior Manager, Workday Payroll, Benefits & HR Applications to own and optimize Workday Payroll and Benefits while guiding HR technology across Talent Acquisition, Learning, and other HR systems. This role demands strategic leadership of global HR technology teams and partnerships with HR, IT, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of HRIS, HR Technology, or Workday experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on Workday experience with deep expertise in: Workday Payroll, Workday Benefits, Time & Absence, Recruiting Systems, Learning Systems, Reporting and Analytics.
• Proven experience managing HR technology teams and complex cross-functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations.
• Experience supporting global HR applications and vendor management.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of Workday Payroll, Benefits, Time & Absence, Recruiting, and Learning.
• Serve as the functional and technical SME for Payroll and Benefits processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
• Manage and support the broader HR application ecosystem, including Talent Acquisition, Learning Management Systems, and other HR technologies.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Finance, IT, and external vendors to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
• Lead Workday releases, system enhancements, integrations, testing, and production support activities.
• Develop and execute the HR technology roadmap, driving continuous improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Oversee HRIS operations, data integrity, security, reporting, and analytics.
• Manage and develop a team of HRIS professionals, consultants, and vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Support global workforce initiatives, acquisitions, organizational changes, and enterprise-wide HR transformations.
