Job summary

Sandvik seeks an HR Contact Advisory Specialist to support recruiting and HR operations in a hybrid work setup. The role involves handling Workday processes, onboarding, and maintaining employee records across HR systems.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in HR, strong English communication, and familiarity with I-9 verifications, with the ability to provide timely HR reports and support across HR services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in HR in a professional environment with HRIS experience and onboarding of new hires.
• Experience navigating Workday HRIS and assisting employees with updates.
• 101 level of basic HR concepts, practices and terminology.
• Familiar with new hire onboarding requirements; experience with I-9 verifications.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and cloud-based applications.
• Excellent written and spoken English; team-oriented and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Support Recruiting Manager and HR Generalist with recruitment steps in Workday and review of employment contracts and offer letters.
• Coordinate mandatory employment checks (right to work, medical checks, references, criminal record checks).
• Maintain employee data/records in Workday and other HR systems (Sharepoint, etc).
• Monitor and administer Workday processes in line with approvals and timelines.
• Be first point of contact for HR inquiries and triage to Tier 2 as needed.
• Generate HR reports from Workday to support decision-making and provide monthly/ad hoc reports.
