Job summary

Keystone Human Services seeks a Human Resources Consultant to support daily HR operations for its Intellectual Disability Services division. This role promotes employee engagement and development, supports consistent application of policies and procedures, and responds promptly to employee and management questions and concerns.

The Human Resources Consultant partners with management and the Human Resources Director to identify workforce needs and develop responsive solutions in collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, or a business-related field and a minimum of two years of HR Generalist experience across a variety of HR functions.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrates the required skills and knowledge.
• Relevant HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote Keystone’s mission, values, and culture through all aspects of the role.
• Promote equitable treatment of employees while balancing organizational needs and HR policies.
• Support employee relations by addressing concerns promptly and conducting investigations as required.
• Coach and counsel supervisors to strengthen HR processes.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee files and data.
• Provide HRIS support and troubleshoot system concerns.
• Support leave administration, recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and benefits processes.
• Track and report HR metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Develop and conduct supervisory training sessions as required.
• Prepare and maintain HR documentation related to employee relations and investigations.
• Partner with leaders to improve engagement, retention, performance, and change efforts.
