Job summary

Clover Park School District is seeking an HR Specialist (Public Records) to manage PRA requests, subpoenas, and records retention with strict confidentiality. The role also oversees workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs, plus leave administration including FMLA, PFML, and ADA accommodations.

The hybrid position requires strong compliance knowledge, excellent communication, and collaboration with payroll and school-site teams to ensure accurate records and timely benefits

Qualifications

• Education/experience requirements: BS/BA in HR or related field or AA plus experience or HS diploma with 5 years in HR fields.
• Knowledge of confidentiality laws, records handling and compliance.
• Ability to use MS Office and database programs; maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PRA compliance and legal requests; manage records lifecycle and redactions.
• Oversee workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs; liaise with third-party adjusters.
• Administer FMLA, PFML and ADA accommodations; handle leave tracking and payroll coordination.
