Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health System seeks an HR Compliance Specialist II to audit HR programs for regulatory and policy compliance and support primary source verification for educational and other employment requirements. The role reports to the VP, HR Strategic Initiatives and Operations and involves cross-functional collaboration to ensure adherence to employment standards.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field and at least three years of HR/compliance

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience, or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.

Responsibilities

Audits HR programs and data to ensure compliance with policies and plan documents.
Identifies key control points of the system being audited.
Identifies and assesses risks.
Executes procedures using the prescribed method or work program and addresses deviations as needed.
Prepares clear documentation and findings to support conclusions.
Develops recommendations for management review and approval.
Prepares formal written reports on adequacy and effectiveness of systems.
