Job summary

S.E. Combined Services of Florida is seeking an experienced HR Compliance Supervisor to ensure our people practices, systems, and programs stay compliant and effective.

You will partner with Legal, oversee key compliance programs, and lead a team to deliver practical, scalable solutions across the organization. Reporting to the HR Compliance and Support Director, you will manage background screening, I-9/E-Verify, SOX-related activities, and vendor relationships while driving process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or HR or equivalent is required or considered.
• At least 4 years of related HR compliance experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or people-management experience.
• Strong understanding of HR compliance, policies, and employment regulations.
• Intermediate Excel skills are required.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor employment laws across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada and assess impact.
• Partner with Legal to translate regulatory changes into HR policy updates.
• Identify and lead process improvements to strengthen compliance and efficiency.
• Lead the high-volume background screening program and related policies.
• Manage government reporting, including EEO and data filings.
• Oversee visa sponsorship, Form I-9 and E-Verify requirements.
