Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system serving over 6,000 colleagues in North Florida and South Georgia.

This role focuses on developing initiatives to drive retention, enhance the colleague experience, and increase engagement across the organization. You will manage engagement surveys and coordinate events, programs, and discounts to support TMH’s culture and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, hospitality management, organizational development, public relations, or business administration.
• HR may accept relevant work experience in lieu of required education on a 1-year:1-year basis.
• Two (2) years of directly related professional experience.
• Healthcare, higher education, or corporate event planning/coordination experience.
• Budget management and expense tracking experience.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent multitasking skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to maintain a customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating, developing, and implementing initiatives/programs aligned with TMH culture to drive retention, enhance colleague experience, and increase colleague satisfaction and engagement.
• Manages colleague engagement surveys, programs, and initiatives.
• Develops, plans, and coordinates employee events, activities, and discounts.
• Develops and monitors data-driven programs continually to improve colleague retention.
• Performs miscellaneous duties and fulfills other responsibilities not described expressly herein.

Your Role:

Reports To:Exec Dir/HR [Human Resources] Services (JC: 025901).

Supervises:Oversees event volunteers but does not supervise directly.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, hospitality management, organizational development, public relations, or business administration.
• HR may accept relevant work experience in lieu of required education on a 1-year: 1-year basis.
